The online workshop will focus on the current topic of sources of food security and their agricultural and social contexts. The topic will be presented as a part of the interdisciplinary cooperation between experimental botany and social sciences.

At the video-workshop, the lecture will be given by Dr. Isa Blumi from Stockholm University. This will be followed by a comment from Dr. Zora Hesová from the Center of Global Studies. The discussion will follow afterwards.

Speakers from Ethiopia, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Hungary, Portugal, Australia, the United Kingdom, the USA, and the Czech Republic will give contributions at this international video-conference. The conference is another series of the “Asixoxe Conference on African Philosophy” which is organized annually by Centre of Global Studies. The video-conference will take place online at ZOOM. After the contributions, a discussion will be opened.
Researchers from the Czech Research Centre ZFC (Hangzhou) and the Centre of Global Studies IP CAS (Prague) will give papers at a video-conference on government policies and economic impacts of COVID-19 in China and Central Europe, with a participation of the Czech Consul in Shanghai and his staff. The videoconference, which will take place online, is organized by the mentioned institutions.
